South Asian Dance Workshops for Schools & Clubs

Our South Asian dance workshops for schools are designed for primary and secondary schools, offering engaging and inclusive sessions that support cultural learning, creativity, and pupil wellbeing. Based in Wales, we work with schools across Barry, Cardiff, Wales, and beyond, delivering high-quality school dance workshops led by experienced professional dancers.

Each workshop is tailored to the age group, ability level, and aims of the school. Sessions can support curriculum enrichment, physical education, cultural awareness, and enrichment days, and can be delivered in a format that best suits your timetable and requirements. No previous dance experience is required, and all sessions are fully inclusive and accessible.

If you’re interested in bringing South Asian dance workshops to your school, we’d love to hear from you.

    • Half-Day Workshop Programme
A flexible option delivered across several sessions, which may include shorter workshops for multiple classes or longer sessions for specific year groups, depending on your school’s structure and timetable.

    • Full-Day Workshop Programme
A full day of workshop delivery across the school day, tailored to your timetable and delivered to multiple classes or year groups, allowing for wider participation and deeper engagement.

    • Workshops are designed for groups of up to 30 pupils per session to ensure safe movement, strong engagement, and high-quality delivery.

    • Larger year groups or cohorts are accommodated through multiple sessions across the day.

    • Short breaks between sessions are built in to allow for smooth transitions, resets, and consistent delivery throughout the day.

    • All workshops include planning, music, and any equipment required.

Pupils explore rhythm, storytelling, and a fusion of traditional and modern South Asian dance styles. Workshops are delivered in a supportive and encouraging environment that helps build confidence, coordination, teamwork, and self-expression, while introducing pupils to cultural traditions in a meaningful and age-appropriate way.
